A new look for Volvo of
Dealership gets new location and new highly skilled staff members
Out with the old and in with the new - that's what's happening with Volvo of Edmonton. Formerly Anglo Canadian Motors, the Volvo dealership located at 1205 -101 Street (Ellerslie Road) in south Edmonton received a name and location change as well as many highly skilled staff members when it purchased by Mike Duff and Mike Norris in 2008.
Now, Volvo of Edmonton is an entirely new dealership in south Edmonton at Ellerslie Road and 101 Street. The brand new 24,000 sq ft dealership, which features 12 service bays, a drive-thru breezeway that will hold six vehicles and a full detail centre which opened in late summer 2009. The new dealership will also be able to carry much more inventory - approximately $10 million worth of new and used vehicles.
State of the Art
“The dealership is state of the art and features an interior Scandinavian design,” said Mike Norris, managing partner for Volvo of Edmonton.
The interior design is based on Volvo’s face forward slogan, and according to Norris the look of the building is unlike any other dealership around.
“It’s very open and very bright,” said Norris. “It’s going to be very comfortable and relaxing for the customer.”
The luxurious look will go hand in hand with Volvo’s luxurious product.
“Volvo is a specialty brand and it is still a leader in safety in the market place,” said Mike Duff, president of Volvo of Edmonton. “Today’s Volvo has a very stylish design and is very up to date like our dealership.”
When Duff and Norris started Volvo of Edmonton, Norris brought in the best of the best when it came to staff. The great reputation and outstanding customer service that the dealership has build up for itself in such a short period of time will remain.
“Although we’re selling cars, success is about people,” said Duff. “Mike Norris has, and is continuing to assemble a great team. I’m sure it will be well managed and we have a superior product. All of those things are positives.”
Of course, at Volvo of Edmonton everybody makes customer service the top priority.
"We have a really great staff to take care of customers," said Norris.
